Who Created the Universe? asks what modern cosmology actually establishes about the origin of the cosmos and whether it remains conceptually possible to think of a cause beyond physical time and space.

From the Big Bang to the question of a beginning

The Big Bang model describes an early universe that was extremely hot and dense, followed by cosmic expansion. It is not an explosion inside a pre-existing container: the framework concerns the development of spacetime itself.

That distinction sharpens the question. What can “before” mean if physical time has a boundary? Can a cosmological theory explain why there is a universe at all, why its laws have their particular form and where scientific explanation reaches its limit?

What physics explains — and what it leaves open

The inquiry addresses contemporary models, quantum cosmology, inflation, multiverse hypotheses and fine-tuning. It keeps mathematical models, empirical support and philosophical interpretation distinct.

It rejects two symmetrical shortcuts: turning a present scientific limit into a proof of God, or turning a physical model into a refutation of every transcendent cause.

A God beyond time and space?

The central issue is conceptual. Must a cause of the universe belong to the reality it explains? Is it coherent to think of something that is neither one object among others nor one event inside cosmic chronology? And what may physics legitimately conclude at the edge of its own domain?

The book does not promise an easy proof. It separates scientific results, extrapolations and metaphysical arguments so that each can be assessed at its proper strength.

Book Five of The Investigation

Following Who Wrote the Torah?, Who Invented God?, Who Left Egypt? and Who Created Evil?, this fifth volume applies the same rule: present the evidence, state the strongest objections and limit the conclusion to what the arguments can support.
